As we say goodbye to 2025 and welcome the opportunities of 2026, it feels like the right time to pause, recognise the progress our industry has made, and prepare for another exciting year of innovation and growth. 

Throughout 2025, the industry across EMEA continued to evolve at impressive speed. Operators, suppliers and regulators adapted to shifting consumer expectations, embraced smarter technologies and pushed forward with initiatives that strengthened compliance while enhancing the player experience. 

What better way to begin 2026 than by celebrating the exceptional companies and individuals driving this momentum at the Global Gaming Awards Europe, Middle East & Africa during World Gaming Week. Last year’s move to Barcelona marked a milestone for our event, and we are thrilled to return to the city once again, building on the energy we witnessed at our 2025 ceremony. 

Every company and individual featured in this year’s Shortlist has earned their place through dedication, creativity and excellence. Congratulations to all nominees – your achievements elevate not just your brands, but the entire industry. 

The winners, as always, are chosen by our esteemed Judging Panel of senior executives, whose expertise and regional insight ensure a credible and respected process. I extend my sincere thanks to each of them for their time and contribution.
