1. Self-Nominations 
Gaming companies operating across the Americas put themselves forward by completing the nomination form on our website. In doing so, they highlight their achievements in North and/or South American markets over the past 12-18 months. 

2. Review of Nominations 
All entries are carefully reviewed by the Global Gaming Awards team. To ensure balance, we also consult independent industry experts and advisors for additional recommendations. 

3. Shortlist Finalized 
Each company category is narrowed down to 10 nominees, while the American Executive of the Year category features 25 shortlisted leaders. To maintain fairness, companies may only be nominated once per category - so groups with multiple brands can only see one brand represented in a given category. 

4. Supporting Statements 
Every shortlisted company is invited to submit a brief supporting statement explaining why they deserve to win. 

5. Judging  
A panel of over 100 senior industry executives is asked to vote. Only one executive per company may serve as a judge. Each executive casts votes for both a winner and a runner-up in categories where no conflicts of interest exist. 

6. Voting Adjudication 
To guarantee integrity, KPMG US acts as the independent voting adjudicator of the Awards. 

7. Shortlist Magazine 
One month before the ceremony, we publish the official Global Gaming Awards Shortlist Magazine -available in both digital and print. This publication not only lists all shortlisted companies and individuals but also explains the reasons behind every nomination. We are proud to be the only industry awards event that provides this level of transparency. 

8. Presentation Ceremony 
The winners are revealed during a prestigious luncheon ceremony on Day 1 of G2E Las Vegas, where the industry gathers to celebrate excellence.
