Avanti Studios has now raised €10m in total seed funding across two rounds
Genting Casinos UK, which participated in the first round, reinvested in the second round

Avanti Studios has wrapped up the second phase of its seed funding, raising €5m ($5.8m) to bring total capital raised to €10m, as the live casino provider prepares to release its first content to the market in June 2026.

The round closed on May 19 and was filled quickly after being opened to investors, according to the company. According to the company, the demand reflects confidence in both its technology approach and its commercial roadmap.

Genting Casinos UK, which backed the first round, contributed again in this second tranche, deepening its ties to the startup ahead of its commercial debut.

Avanti Studios positions itself around real-time interactive digital humans as its central live casino format, a direction its founders say they believe will define the next generation of the vertical.

Gustaf Hagman, co-founder of Avanti Studios, said: "I am incredibly proud of the group of investors we have assembled. Their support demonstrates not only a belief in our company, but also a belief in the future, and I would like to especially thank the board of Genting Casinos UK for their continued support, guidance and the overall contribution they have made to our journey so far."

Jonas Delin, co-founder of Avanti Studios, said: "We are delighted to have finalised the second phase of funding, one of the largest investment rounds for a startup in the sector this year. We firmly believe that the future belongs to interactive, realistic, real-time digital humans, and seeing so many investors share this vision with us signals one thing: this is just the beginning!"

The company has moved quickly on the commercial front in recent months. Beyond the Light & Wonder distribution deal, Avanti Studios recently secured exclusivity for the live Sweet 16 Blackjack format and began distributing live casino games to Spanish players through Luckia.

The content launch planned for June will mark the company's first public-facing product deployment after more than a year of development and deal-making.
