Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG) has officially launched its new office in Hyderabad, India, helping the operator establish its global capability centre and bringing together members of the executive leadership and FEG India teams.
“This new office is more than a space. It's a milestone — one that reflects the value FEG India delivers to FEG, and a marker of bigger things ahead,” FEG India Managing Director Avinash Gupta said.
The inauguration was led by FEG Group CEO Dieter John, Group CTO Sotiris Haritos and Penta Investments Managing Partner Iain Child, described as an opportunity to “connect, celebrate and reflect on how far we’ve come as a team.”
FEG recently acquired a 70% stake in Lithuania omnichannel gaming operator Topsport, marking a significant expansion into the Baltic region for the Czech-based group.
Topsport holds a commanding 54% share of the Lithuanian market and has operated in the country for 24 years. The company reported EBITDA exceeding €65m ($75m) in 2025, underlining its position as one of the region's most established gaming businesses.
The deal is described as one of the most significant foreign investments in Lithuania in recent years and represents a record transaction for FEG's parent company, Penta Investments.
The operator also entered the Montenegrin market with the acquisition of a 51% stake in Lob during October 2025, Montenegro's second-largest sports betting and gaming operator.
The deal includes an option for Fortuna to increase its stake over time and marks one of the largest recent foreign direct investments in the country's entertainment sector.
