Monarch Casino & Resort has reported its financial results for the second quarter and first half of 2026, as revenue during Q2 increased 4.2% to a record-high $142.6m, while H1 2026 revenue rose 6.4% to $279.1m. 

Net income for both periods increased year-over-year, including 20.4% to $32.5m for Q2 and 28.3% to $60.1m during H1 2026. The operator’s Q2 adjusted EBITDA increased 3.3% to nearly $53m, as well as 10.3% for a total of $102m for the first-half period.

For Q2 2026, casino operations accounted for $81.5m of Monarch Casino & Resort’s total revenue, equating to growth of 2.5%. The operator reported food & beverage and hotel revenues of $33.2m and $21.6m, respectively, having increased 3.1% and 13%.

Other revenue for the operator increased 4.5% to $6.3m during Q2, while total operating expenses grew 1.9% to $104m. Income from operations reached just over $38.6m, representing an increase of 10.7%. 

Casino operations also accounted for the majority of H1 2026 revenue, having increased 5.8% to $161.3m. 

Monarch Casino & Resort’s food & beverage sector produced $64.9m of revenue and rose 4.3%, while hotel revenue increased 13.2% to $40.5m. Other revenue generated $12.4m during H1 2026, representing an increase of 5.5%. 

Operating expenses for H1 2026 grew 1.7% to $205.6m, leading to an income from operations of $73.6m, equating to a rise of 22.2%.

Which sectors accounted for the most revenue during the first half of 2026?

In April, Monarch Casino & Resort’s slot machine change donation program, which currently runs on equipment developed by International Game Technology, surpassed $1m in donations to various nonprofit organizations.

While guests still have the ability to redeem the full slot machine amount if they so choose, donations go toward organizations such as Food Bank of Northern Nevada, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nevada and the Navy SEAL Foundation.
