Foxwoods Resort Casino and Interblock Gaming held an exclusive launch event for the operator’s new Innovation Zone on July 23, as the Connecticut property became the first to debut the supplier’s next-generation gaming portfolio outside of Las Vegas.
“The launch of the new innovation zone really epitomizes what we’re trying to do here at Foxwoods, what our core focus here at Foxwoods is. We’re always trying to stay on top of every single trend that’s coming through in the gaming industry,” Foxwoods Resort Casino SVP of Gaming Operations Bryan Hayes said.
“Interblock has been a fantastic partner for almost the last 15 years and we’ll continue to grow with them. They’re another company that’s always been at the forefront of what’s going on in the gaming industry.”

Slots featured within the new gaming zone include Destroyer: Naval Strike, Showtime Frenzy, Cosmic Crash and Battle for Earth, as well as high-limit titles from Aristocrat Gaming, International Game Technology (IGT) and Light & Wonder.
Foxwoods Resort Casino went on to state: “We’re first, and it’s not even close. No casino outside of Las Vegas has done this. We’re bringing next-generation gaming to our floor before anyone else in the northeast.
“What makes this really unique is we didn’t just add games. We built a destination. When guests walk into The Innovation Zone, they know they’re somewhere different.”
The Connecticut Tribal property also confirmed additional “games of this caliber” will be released “throughout the coming months.”

Interblock SVP of Sales Peter Herem also spoke on the new launch, having said, “This continues to build on our relationship in Tribal gaming and what we can do when bringing new players and new innovation to these casino floors.”
