Powered by Global Gaming Insider, the Global Gaming Awards are widely regarded as the most prestigious and trusted Awards in the gaming industry. Every company and individual is shortlisted on merit following an extensive research and nomination process.

Over the past several months, the Global Gaming Insider team has closely monitored developments across the Americas, reviewing company performance, product launches, market developments and individual achievements. The team also considered self-nominations submitted by the industry and consulted with independent industry experts before determining the final Shortlist.

This year’s nominees reflect the breadth and continued evolution of gaming across North and South America, spanning land-based commercial and Tribal gaming, online casino, sports betting, technology, payments, product innovation and leadership.

New for 2026 is Industry Influencer of the Year, a category created to recognize the voices helping shape conversations and build communities. The category goes beyond social media reach or follower numbers, recognizing individuals who use their voice, expertise or platform to share knowledge, champion important causes, encourage meaningful conversations and connect the gaming community.

With the Shortlist now confirmed, voting is currently underway. The Judging Panel comprises senior executives from across the gaming industry, with one representative from each company. Judges are excluded from voting in categories where their company is shortlisted, and the entire voting process is independently adjudicated by KPMG US.

“Putting together the Americas Shortlist is never an easy task, and this year was certainly no exception,” said Mariya Savova, Marketing Director at Global Gaming Insider.

“The gaming industry across North and South America continues to evolve at an incredible pace, and there have been so many achievements over the past 12 months that deserve recognition. Our team has spent months researching every category, considering nominations and consulting with independent experts to deliver a Shortlist we are incredibly proud of.

“Congratulations to every company and individual shortlisted. Being named among the best in such a competitive region is an achievement in itself, and I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone in Las Vegas later this month.”

The winners of the Global Gaming Awards Americas 2026 will be revealed at an exclusive luncheon ceremony on Monday, September 28, at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, during G2E.
