When a large group of people moves from one successful iGaming company to another, the industry tends to make an immediate assumption: that the winning formula has moved with them. It is understandable. People carry experience, judgement, relationships and knowledge, and when enough of them move together, it can look like the transfer of an operating system.

There is another way to look at it.  When a company hires one person from a competitor, it is making a bet on that person. When it hires 10 or 20 people from the same competitor, it is making a much bigger bet: that the way those people learned to succeed will still work elsewhere.
