Elantil ICE preview: AI, crypto and Elanbubus!

Tereza Melicharkova, Head of Marketing at Elantil, tells Global Gaming Insider all about the supplier’s event strategy, themes for upcoming shows and ‘very big’ plans for Elantil’s first ICE.

Talk us through your event strategy of late. You had a stand at SBC Lisbon, not at SiGMA Central Europe; what is the plan for ICE? 

As a start-up, it’s important for Elantil to be very smart about how we spend our budget. The money we have available needs to be split among not just events, but also advertising, PR, social media and merchandise, so it’s crucial to have a proper strategy in place for what shows we target and why. Our first ever stand was at Next Valletta, which, as a Maltese company, was an event we felt we simply couldn’t miss due to the huge exposure and awareness it generates for your brand in the country. We decided to continue this momentum on a more global scale by targeting SBC, and while we also hold SiGMA in very high esteem, it was a bit too close for an event that has a similar audience to SBC. Our plans for ICE are of course very big. As a trustworthy platform, we want to show the industry the quality of all that we do through the professionalism our stand. 

Will there be any specific themes for guests? Like the Lisbon Elanbubus! 

In terms of appearance, our stand at ICE truly represents what Elantil is all about. The cleanness of the design and the smart way that we’ve used the space reflects the efficiencies that our modular, non-opinionated platform architecture brings to operators, while the addition of a pre-paid vending machine and fun marble race games showcases our innovative spirit and ongoing desire to do things differently. As for Elanbubu, we always thought that our mascot would be a big hit, but we couldn’t begin to imagine just how popular it would become. We were asked by many people in the industry to bring more Elanbubus to our next stand and we’ve listened to that, though this time we’ll be doing things a little differently. Guests at ICE who win our marble race games will be given a custom brick set, which they’ll be able to use to build their own Elanbubu! 

What is Elantil looking to bring to what will officially be its first ICE Barcelona? 

We’re excited to be attending our first ICE event, so our team will be bringing that passion and enthusiasm to the stand. We want to showcase everything we’ve been working on and how our innovation is changing the industry for the better, so of course there will be demos that enable visitors to experience all our latest developments – how they look and feel and what benefits they bring from a commercial perspective. As I mentioned, instead of having a bar, we’ve decided to bring a vending machine to save on space and pass on the message that Elantil is one of the most crypto-friendly platforms around. Visitors will be able to collect a pre-loaded swipe card from us that they can use buy drinks, again illustrating the fact that we’re always happy to explore new ways of doing things, embrace different currencies and generally just make things more efficient. 

How do you plan to make the most of the show, given its vast size? 

I think attending SBC was a great experience for us as it gave us the opportunity to test the waters and find out first-hand what being present at a major industry event is like, so we want to take those learnings and use them to make sure we do things even better at ICE. For sure, the team is all fully prepared for what’s coming and as usual we’ll be arriving full of energy and enthusiasm, but really, we have such a fantastic product that I think visitors just need to come and see it for themselves. That’s the great thing about being at Elantil – we believe so much in what we’re doing that we don’t need to get fired up for shows; we just do what we always do and let the technology do the talking. 

What would you say to anyone thinking of visiting your stand or booking a meeting with Elantil? 

I would strongly recommend that anyone coming to ICE takes the time to stop by our stand and speak to one of the team. We have eight people out in Barcelona and all of them are really looking forward to showing off what we’ve been working on – and if you’re not already familiar with the work Elantil has been doing over the past year, I think it will be really eye-opening. You have to remember this is a platform we’ve built with passion from the ground up, and it’s been specifically designed to address the frustrations we’ve all experienced throughout our careers in iGaming. Through a combination of agile platform architecture, real-time data insights and a back-end that truly embraces AI, we’re bringing something genuinely different to the industry and our solutions can really make operators’ lives much easier, so they should definitely come and check them out.
