A ‘Platform for Champions’ is the strapline, but what industry challenges of 2025 gave you most pause for thought and forced you to adapt the most to maintain that title? 

In 2025, the biggest challenge was that operators needed simpler, faster and more scalable platforms instead of numerous disconnected systems. That pushed us to turn “Platform for Champions” into a true powerhouse for operators. We focused on making all parts – sportsbook, casino, engagement, payments, back office – work smoothly together with zero friction. To deliver on all parts of the “Platform for Champions” and keep that title, we invest in reducing complexity for clients while helping them grow faster. 

AI-risk detection is one of your tools that presumably is constantly improving and updating to keep pace with the threats. How else are you keeping your risk management solutions in the top tier for clients? 

AI-driven risk detection is just one part of it. The edge comes from how local we are about fraud. Fraud in LatAm, MENA and Asia are three completely different situations, and that’s before you even zoom into individual countries. Because we are intensely focused on localisation, we incorporate regional and local fraud patterns into our models, tune them with live data from each market and connect risk across sportsbook, casino and payments. That’s how we catch most fraud before it happens. 

The World Cup is around the corner. What can sportsbooks be doing now to help them grab that opportunity with both hands? 

First, make sure the platform can handle big traffic spikes without glitches and downtime. Second, sharpen the offer: interesting markets, great mobile UX, personalised promos and seamless payments. Third, plan retention: other championships that may attract that World Cup audience, cross-vertical promotions and gamification that turns visitors into year-round customers. 

But most of all, the operators simply shouldn’t sleep on the opportunity. The World Cup is in six months, but the time to get ready – if they want it to be a success – is now.  

Last year at ICE Barcelona you announced your Ready to Fight partnership – anything similarly heavyweight on the way at this year’s event? 

This year, we’re evolving from a boxing-inspired concept into a Champions Club arena: a space for champions of all sports, all verticals. You’ll see a much bigger, clearer Platform for Champions with our live product ecosystem in action, our new Crypto Turnkey in the spotlight, an expanded Behind the Gloves boxing experience and the new Acceler8 Lab for focused, exclusive championship-level knowledge sharing. 

As much as these events are fantastic opportunities to get the industry together and enjoy that facetime, there’s still a competitive edge to them, just as there’s a fighting spirit in your brand identity. How much do you lean into that competition aspect at conferences? 

We do lean into it, but in a constructive way. Our brand has a clear fighting spirit, so we treat events like ICE as performance moments: you show up in shape, with a sharper product, clearer story and a better experience than last time. We want operators to see that we’re the partner that helps them win. Competition is the fuel, collaboration is the goal. 

What would you say GR8 Tech’s overall top priority for ICE 2026? 

Our top priority is to make Champions Club the arena where future winners walk in. Champions Club is our live stage for “Platform for Champions:” showcasing the full potential of our solutions, having serious, high-value conversations with operators, and focusing on tangible impact. If people leave our stand thinking, “These are the guys who can actually help us win this year,” then ICE 2026 has done its job for GR8 Tech.
