BetMGM has launched a performance-linked promotion that rewards customers based on the scoring output of the US men's national team, tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Under the Goal Rush Grand Prize promotion, eligible customers who place a qualifying pre-match wager of $5 or more on a US match will receive a share of a $500,000 bonus bet pool each time the national team scores. 

Matt Prevost, CRO at BetMGM, said: "BetMGM is built around delivering legendary moments, and there is no bigger stage in soccer than the World's Game. We're giving our players the opportunity to connect directly to the action with every goal scored by Team USA."

The promotion forms part of a broader World Cup marketing campaign that spans sportsbook, casino and free-to-play products.

Starting June 11, the BetMGM Sportsbook app will feature Tim Howard's Penalty Kick Shootout, a daily free-to-play game in which users attempt to score against the former US national team goalkeeper. Participants can win parlay boost tokens, odds boost tokens and bonus bets without placing a wager.

On the casino side, BetMGM is introducing two Tim Howard-branded titles: Tim Howard Goalie Gold X Up and Tim Howard's Goal Line – Fortune Pick, across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia and Ontario.

The operator is also partnering with Marriott Bonvoy on a sweepstakes that offers customers the chance to win a trip to New York City for a Sports Illustrated event. 

In addition, BetMGM will offer more than 300 betting markets per match throughout the tournament and host watch parties at retail sportsbook locations across the US, complemented by local activations during US national team matches.
