Sportradar has announced a new multi-year global partnership with prediction market operator Kalshi, marking what the companies describe as a first-of-its-kind agreement focused on sports data, infrastructure and market integrity.
Under the deal, Sportradar will become an official data and solutions provider for Kalshi, supplying sports content and services across major competitions including Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Hockey League (NHL), Major League Soccer (MLS) and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
The agreement will see Kalshi gain access to Sportradar’s official sports data feeds and live odds products to support both pre-game and in-play prediction markets. Sportradar will also provide fan engagement tools, data visualisations, customer acquisition services and integrity monitoring solutions.
A key component of the partnership is the deployment of Sportradar’s integrity products, including its Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS AI) and Integrity Exchange network, which are designed to identify suspicious activity and facilitate information sharing among industry participants.
The agreement also creates opportunities for Sportradar to work directly with other participants in the Kalshi ecosystem, including brokers and market makers, extending the reach of its data and technology services across the wider prediction markets value chain.
Commenting on the new deal, Sportradar CEO Carsten Koerl stated: “Prediction markets represent a compelling growth engine for the global sports ecosystem and Sportradar is uniquely positioned to shape and power this emerging sector.
“Our partnership with Kalshi extends the reach of our premium sports data and services into a rapidly evolving landscape, fostering collaboration with market makers and the broader marketplace. This partnership with Kalshi marks a critical first step.
“We look forward to working with key prediction market participants as the landscape matures, establishing the trusted, compliant framework for sports innovation just as we have successfully delivered in online sports betting.”
Tarek Mansour, Co-Founder and CEO of Kalshi, added: "The breadth and depth of this partnership is what makes it a big deal. We're using official league data to ensure quicker trade settlements, creating an overall better customer experience. We're also collaborating on an integrity monitoring program to further protect our users."
The announcement comes at a turbulent time for Kalshi. The operator is currently facing lawsuits from the state attorneys general of New Mexico and Rhode Island, who argue its sports-related event contracts constitute unlawful gambling.
Spain has also launched disciplinary proceedings against the platform over alleged unlicensed gambling operations.
Sportradar’s integrity portfolio includes its UFDS AI monitoring system and Integrity Exchange network, which are used to detect and share information relating to potentially suspicious betting activity
