Jack Found has been a professional writer for the past six years, working as a copywriter and content writer before turning his hand to gambling journalism. Alongside this, he teaches creative writing in the evenings and gives literature classes to large groups of vulnerable students who have been excluded from school (usually due to mental health and/or behavioural issues). Jack holds a First-Class Honours degree in Literature with Creative Writing from UEA and spent a year studying folklore in Mexico and the United States.
A former professional parkour athlete, Jack has opted to stop gambling on his own mortality to focus on the gambling industry at large – a bet that, he would say, has paid off. Now well into his journalistic career, he has a keen interest in the legality and morality of gambling, particularly where questions of ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ collide in national law. He also likes to explore responsible gambling efforts, addiction rates, and the ways emerging technologies such as crypto and AI are driving innovation across the industry.
When not writing or teaching, you'll likely find Jack up a tree or scrabbling around in the soil looking for bugs. Though he’s retired from the concrete-splattering antics of his youth, he still loves to hike, run, skate, dance, rock climb, wildcamp and just generally spend as much time surrounded by green stuff as possible.
