FanDuel has formed a new partnership with Crypto.com and the operator’s Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)-regulated exchange OG to expand its prediction markets offering and introduce combination event contracts.
“FanDuel Predicts was built to deliver a best-in-class prediction market experience to our customers,” FanDuel SVP of Flywheel and New Ventures James Cooper said.
“These additional product sets give our customers more choices by expanding the breadth of sports and entertainment contracts on our platform.”
The collaboration will grant FanDuel Predicts the ability to offer an expanded lineup of sports and entertainment contracts in addition to the markets currently provided in partnership with CME Group.
The partnership with Crypto.com and OG represents the first collaboration formed by FanDuel Predicts since its launch in December 2025.
Crypto.com CBO Joe Anzures also spoke on the partnership, having said, “We are thrilled to partner with FanDuel Predicts to bring a new level of depth and experience to its prediction markets experience.
“By leveraging our robust, regulated exchange and clearinghouse infrastructure, we are enabling a mainstream prediction markets experience just in time for the World Cup – underscoring our capability to deliver scalable, regulated derivatives infrastructure for the world’s biggest moments.”
FanDuel also underwent its third round of layoffs in the past 12 months on June 9, reportedly affecting “hundreds” of employees, including copywriters, analysts, legal operation associates, technical product administrators and more.
The news follows FanDuel CEO Amy Howe’s removal from her position on May 6 after serving with the operator for over five years, with President Christian Genetski taking over leadership after the decision.
While no reasoning for her removal was provided by FanDuel or its parent company Flutter Entertainment at the time of writing, Flutter’s stock had fallen nearly 60% over the past full-year period.
FanDuel expanded its agreement with ITV Studios on June 1 to release a new online slot game – Love Island: Unlocked – in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, West Virginia, Michigan and Ontario
