BetMGM has formed a new partnership with Awager to integrate live-streamed slot titles onto the operator’s iCasino platforms in New Jersey, which are meant to replicate the “authenticity” of land-based titles.
Awager, currently serving as an Aristocrat company, will utilize its remote gaming technology to introduce titles such as Buffalo Ascension and Lightning Link to BetMGM and Borgata Online users in New Jersey.
"Bringing land-based play online is at the heart of our mission to deliver a truly authentic casino experience straight to players' devices. We're incredibly proud to partner with BetMGM on this launch and continue expanding access to real slot machine play,” Aristocrat Chief Strategy Officer Superna Kalle said.
“Together, we're creating new ways for players to enjoy the games they love while preserving the authenticity and trust that make the land-based casino experience so compelling."
The games will operate in regulated studio environments through live video, true machine audio and real-time responsiveness, while the launch is set to include 50 cabinets featuring over 30 titles.
BetMGM Director of Gaming Rob Passerino also spoke on the new partnership, having said, "At BetMGM, we're committed to bringing new and innovative gaming experiences to our players. Also on August 13, BetMGM expanded its partnership with American Gaming Systems (AGS) to launch three of the supplier’s Rakin’ Bacon slot titles in Alberta for iCasino players, offering exclusive first-to-market access to the online games.
As part of its ongoing collaboration with AGS, BetMGM received exclusive first access to Rakin’ Bacon! Fu Zhu Bao Bao, Triple Oink Soda Fountain Fortunes and Triple Oink San Shen Zhu.
BetMGM debuted its Game of Thrones slot in Alberta through the operator’s iCasino platform on August 5, representing the title’s second Canadian launch after being introduced in Ontario last April
