He also previously held the role of Head of Product at Sky Betting and Gaming

Willie Lok has been named the new Vice President of Casino and Loyalty Products at Midnite.

Before joining Midnite, Lok was most recently VP of Product at FanDuel. He was with the operator for four years. Earlier, he served as Head of Product at Sky Betting and Gaming.

He brings experience in building and scaling casino products to the new role, contributing to the company’s next phase of growth.

Midnite Founder and CEO Nicholas Wright commented on the appointment: “With Willie joining the team, we’re setting a new standard for casino and loyalty as we continue to push the boundaries of product innovation; having someone with his level of product and industry expertise join our team is a huge milestone for us as we look to scale Midnite into a next-gen tier 1 global operator.

“We’re incredibly ambitious about where we can take our casino and loyalty products, and Willie’s appointment is an integral part of that journey. There’s a real opportunity to raise the bar here, and we want Midnite to be the company that does it.”

Lok added: "I'm really pleased to be joining Midnite and taking on the opportunity to help grow its casino and loyalty products. Building casino products at scale has shown me what a great player experience takes, and Midnite's in-house platform is a rare foundation for delivering one.’’

Just six months ago, Sam Talbot was hired by Midnite as its VP of Product. It is unclear in the immediate term whether Lok's appointment constitutes a direct replacement. However, Lok has been hired within the Casino and Loyalty verticals – meaning the two may now work in the same department.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) recently banned five Midnite advertisements after ruling that the campaign suggested gambling could provide an escape from stressful situations and encouraged socially irresponsible behaviour.
