Arora described prediction markets as an ‘elegant way to aggregate important information that can come from anyone’

Kalshi has formed a new partnership with prediction market data aggregation platform Oddpool to help expand consumer access to its event contract markets, as confirmed by the site’s Co-Founder Avi Arora.

“We decided to get into prediction markets because we love free markets. They are an elegant way to aggregate important information that can come from anyone and communicate it through prices. They do it by matching buyers and sellers, and letting participants compete in an open bidding process to figure out what the price should be,” Arora said.

“The demand for prediction market data and Oddpool are growing incredibly fast. But when we sat down with Tarek Mansour and spoke about what a world could look like if we joined forces, Ritesh and I got incredibly excited about what we could build from within the ecosystem rather than a partner from the outside.”

Oddpool currently aggregates and analyzes data from markets offered by both Kalshi and Polymarket, providing “real-time odds, historical data and arbitrage opportunities” for traders and analysts.

Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour also commented on the new collaboration, having said: “The prediction market data layer you have already built and your customer list are impressive. Let's take it to the next level together.”

According to Arora, Oddpool recently raised a $3m seed funding round during the spring of 2026, and has since been “working at the edge of institutional adoption in prediction markets.”

The Oddpool Co-Founder continued: “Traditional derivatives markets have enabled price discovery on key economic inputs like commodities, energy and interest rates.

“Prediction markets take that a step further and aggregate prices for a much broader range of inputs that are economically useful and people care about, from politics and sports, to climate and culture.”

Arora’s relatively positive spin on prediction markets was not mirrored in Michigan, however, as Attorney General Dana Nessel was granted a second preliminary injunction forbidding Kalshi from offering sports-related event contracts across the state on September 2.

As a result of the additional enforcement action, Kalshi will be forced to implement geofencing measures to block Michigan residents and those within the state’s borders from accessing the platform.
