Fontainebleau Las Vegas has expanded its high-limit slots offering with the debut of a new dedicated lounge space, while a $150,000 promotional giveaway is also set to take place at the property on September 12.
The launch of Fontainebleau Las Vegas’ high-limit slots lounge follows a number of gaming additions recently made by southern Nevada operators, including Palms Casino Resort which introduced a new non-smoking area on September 1.
Included within the new high-limit area’s slot portfolio are Aristocrat Gaming’s Dragon Link machines which offer jackpots of up to $5m, as well as Phoenix Link, Monopoly Big Board Bucks and Lightning 10-Year Storm.
Following the launch, Fontainebleau Las Vegas’ total slot machine portfolio increased to 1,325 units, while the property has also attempted to attract consumers through extended loyalty programs and complimentary parking offers in recent months.
The $150,000 promotion will award over 20 prizes worth varied amounts of free slot credit, including a $50,000 top prize. A drawing to earn $2,500 in free slot credit will also be held as part of the grand opening ceremony.
In July, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas introduced its newly remodeled high-limit slots and video poker room for guests and casino players, featuring the first-ever $5m linked progressives from Aristocrat Gaming.
The $5m linked progressive jackpots represent the highest amount ever unveiled by Aristocrat, as one connects to two Dragon Link machines, while a second is attached to a Phoenix Link with a Lightning 10-Year Storm machine.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas was the first to introduce the two progressives from Aristocrat prior to Fontainebleau’s launch, having worked with the supplier to help ensure the previously exclusive access.
