The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has introduced its newly remodeled high-limit slots and video poker room for guests and casino players, featuring the first-ever $5m linked progressives from Aristocrat Gaming.
“This is a milestone moment not just for Aristocrat Gaming, but for the entire gaming industry,” Aristocrat Gaming CEO Craig Toner said.
“Players have been asking for bigger stakes and bigger possibilities, and these $5m links deliver exactly that.”
The $5m linked progressive jackpots represent the highest amount ever unveiled by Aristocrat, as one connects to two Dragon Link machines, while a second is attached to a Phoenix Link with a Lightning 10-Year Storm machine.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is the first to introduce the two progressives from Aristocrat, having worked with the supplier to help ensure the exclusive launch.
According to property executives, the redesign was part of a “lengthy planning process” which includes numerous revisions prior to construction officially beginning.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has been “steadily reinvesting” in its gaming floor since being acquired by MGM Resorts International in 2022.
The renovated space features over 110 slot and video poker machines, an expanded cashier’s cage, enhanced beverage service and an enclosed layout designed with guest feedback in mind.
Aristocrat Interactive recently appointed former Light & Wonder executive Daniel O’Donoghue as the supplier’s new COO, where he will help execute long-term growth strategy and develop new growth potential.
O’Donoghue previously served as COO of Light & Wonder’s iGaming business for just over three years, having originally joined the supplier as VP of iGaming Transformation in February 2022.
Dean Krogstad announced his appointment as VP of North America Manufacturing Operations at Aristocrat on June 18, taking on an expanded leadership role after more than 14 years with the supplier
