Robinhood Markets has formed a new multi-year collaboration with Crypto.com and the operator’s OG.com prediction markets entity, integrating the platform’s event contracts while also acquiring minority positions in both organizations.
Event contracts from OG.com will become available on Robinhood’s mobile application, although financial details of the operator’s respective investments in OG.com and Crypto.com have yet to be released.
Crypto.com and OG.com were recently valued at $15bn and $5bn, respectively, following an investment from Citadel Securities in July.
Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek confirmed the partnership was formed to attract more traders and institutions to the prediction markets platform, as well as that event contracts are “just the first product we’re going to be launching together.”
According to Marszalek, the two operators have also held initial discussions surrounding equity-linked perpetual futures, although any such product would still require regulatory approval.
Robinhood VP and GM of Futures & Prediction Markets JB Mackenzie stated the multi-year agreement would allow the operator to provide more competitive pricing and a broader range of contracts.
Marszalek also confirmed that Crypto.com is working toward an initial public offering – similar to Kalshi IPO rumors from June – and that the operator plans to pursue acquisitions to help fuel growth heading into 2027.
Crypto.com originally launched OG.com on February 4 – currently registered under the Commodity Futures Trading Commission – offering bettors event contracts on sports, entertainment, finance, politics, culture and entertainment.
Kalshi formed a new partnership with prediction market data aggregation platform Oddpool on September 4 to help expand consumer access to its event contract markets, as confirmed by the site’s Co-Founder Avi Arora.
Oddpool currently aggregates and analyzes data from markets offered by both Kalshi and Polymarket, providing “real-time odds, historical data and arbitrage opportunities” for traders and analysts.
Robinhood Markets introduced pre-set combinations on the outcome, totals and spreads of NFL games in December, competing with parlay and prop offerings seen on traditional sports betting platforms
