The Visualize Group has completed its acquisition of testing agency e-Commerce Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance (eCOGRA). The deal is part of the group’s plans to build a leading testing, inspection, certification and compliance (TICC) platform.
eCOGRA is a globally recognised testing agency in the realm of online gambling. It acts as a testing laboratory, inspection body and certification body, specialising in the certification of online gaming software.
In March, the Visualize Group announced the acquisition of BMM Testlabs, a company that provides TICC across six continents. The combination of BMM Testlabs and eCOGRA is a platform that holds licenses and accreditations in over 800 jurisdictions, including nearly every country with legal and regulated gaming.
Speaking on this combination, Martin Storm, Chief Executive Officer of BMM Testlabs, said: "eCOGRA and BMM share a common purpose: giving players, operators, and regulators confidence in the credibility of the broader gaming ecosystem. The combination allows us to invest more in technology and capacity, adopt best practices, and navigate an increasingly complex regulatory landscape together."
The Visualize Group's ambition is to build a "generational business in regulated gaming," explains Founder and Managing Partner C. C. Melvin Ike.
eCOGRA was established in 2003 as the first self-regulation system in the gaming industry
