Gana Media Group's Mexican sportsbook and online casino Estadio Gana produced MXN34.6m ($1.88m) in gross gaming revenue (GGR) for Q3 2026, compared with MXN2.5m for Q2.
The quarter-over-quarter increase of 1,284% followed Gana Media Group's January acquisition of the business and a sharp rise in registrations and deposits.
Betting turnover grew 377% from Q2 to MXN170.6m. GGR represented 20.3% of turnover, up from 6.9% for Q2.
Turnover measures the value staked, whereas GGR reflects the amount retained after winnings. Neither measure is the same as consolidated revenue or net income for Gana Media Group.
Estadio Gana added 58,770 registrations for Q3, up 176%, and recorded 9,681 first-time depositors, more than 11 times the Q2 total. Depositor conversion among registrations rose from 4% to 16.5%. Its aggregate monthly active-user measure reached 28,688 for Q3, compared with 3,086 for Q2.
GGR increased each month, from MXN3.4m for July to MXN11.9m for August and MXN19.3m for September. September accounted for more than half the quarterly total and came after the football World Cup had ended. Management cited the month as evidence that player activity continued beyond the tournament.
The operator attributed the improvement to changes in payments, customer onboarding and CRM, as well as a shift toward casino and higher-margin pre-match and in-play betting.
The release did not quantify the contribution of each factor, so the change cannot be assigned to a single product or campaign.
The update provides GGR and operating measures for Estadio Gana but does not disclose Gana Media Group's Q3 consolidated revenue, EBITDA or net income. That limits assessment of how player growth translated into group profitability. Its earlier group financial statements predate the January acquisition and are not a like-for-like Q3 comparison.
The registered customer base stood at 87,523 on October 15. For Q4, Gana Media Group said it would focus on retaining players acquired during the summer and improving margin through product and content localization. The update gave no Q4 GGR forecast.
During the 2026 World Cup, Mexican betting transaction volumes rose 431.75% from the 2022 tournament, according to payment data covered in August. That payment-data measure is separate from Estadio Gana's GGR.
Gana Media Group completed its acquisition of Estadio Gana on January 8, 2026
