Anthony Colacurcio has been appointed as Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City’s new VP of Marketing.

Having been with the company since it opened in January 2018, Colacurcio went from Director of Marketing Acquisition to Director of Marketing before receiving this latest promotion.

Colacurcio’s experience in gaming and hospitality goes far beyond his time at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. He previously worked as a Social Media Coordinator and then a Specialist for Motorcity Casino Hotel until 2015.

Subsequently, Colacurcio went on to work as a Digital Media Manager and Senior Digital Media Manager for Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa until joining the opening team of Hard Rock Atlantic City.

Earlier this year, Hard Rock Atlantic City announced its plans for a $50m renovation in the hopes of “reaffirming its commitment” to Atlantic City.

The project would see the redesigning of guest suites, new dining concepts and world-class entertainment. Furthermore, the plan entails renovating 700 standard guest rooms, more than 60 suites and eight penthouse suites in the hotel’s North Tower.

Meanwhile, in California, Hard Rock Casino Tejon announced the appointment of Mike Bean as Property President. Bean, who has previously served as CEO of Morongo Casino Resort & Spa and Casino Morongo near Palm Springs, joins the company as it continues its expansion of the Mettler property.

Following the opening of the $600m Hard Rock Casino Tejon in 2025, the company is moving forward with the construction of an 11-story, 400-room hotel, along with a convention venue, additional gaming space and new food and beverage facilities.
