MGM Resorts International has been named the Title Sponsor of the Pro Padel League (PPL)’s inaugural Las Vegas event, scheduled to take place at the operator’s Park MGM property from November 18-21.
"Las Vegas continues to raise the bar as a global sports and entertainment destination. Our partnership with the Pro Padel League will offer sports fans additional opportunities to engage with one of the world's fastest-growing sports,” MGM Resorts SVP of Entertainment & Sports, Events and Development Dan Bernbach said.
According to both parties, the title sponsorship marks the beginning of a “multi-year relationship,” set to feature additional experiences and activations launched across MGM Resorts properties.
The inaugural Las Vegas event represents the final tournament scheduled for the PPL’s 2026 regular season, with 10 franchises spanning across the US, Canada and Mexico.
Each will be competing to qualify for the PPL’s final event in Miami, currently scheduled to take place in Miami from December 3-6.
PPL CEO Mike Dorfman also spoke on the new collaboration with MGM, having said, "Bringing the Pro Padel League to Las Vegas during one of the biggest sports and entertainment weekends of the year is a defining moment for our league.
"MGM Resorts is an extraordinary partner, and together we're creating an experience that extends well beyond the court. From high-stakes competition at Dolby Live to showcasing our athletes at Bellagio, this partnership reflects the scale of our ambition and the opportunity to make professional padel a major part of the global sports and entertainment landscape."
