New innovations and adaptations are explored as the 1spin4win celebrates its fifth anniversary
Carvajal explores emerging trends, company history and plans for the next five years

As the company celebrated its fifth birthday this year, what are your hopes for the company’s expansion and development over the next five years?

Five years is a long time in iGaming, especially given how quickly both the industry and regulation continue to evolve. We will adapt to those changes as they come, but without moving away from what defines us: classic slots delivered in a modern format.

From a market perspective, we plan to expand through new integrations with crypto, social and sweepstakes operators, where 1spin4win is already seeing strong potential. Geographically, our priorities remain strengthening our position in Europe and continuing to grow across Latin America and Africa through new partnerships and deeper regional cooperation.

Speaking of the portfolio, we will keep exploring new mechanics, themes and game formats within the classic slot niche. Beyond games, 1spin4win wants to give partners more promotional tools and work even more closely with players. Players Room is one example of this direction, and we already have a new player-focused feature that we prepared for launch with our casino partners.

Do you feel there has been a growing emphasis on the importance of classic slots for casinos in recent years?

Yes, absolutely. Classic slots have lasting appeal, but it is important to be clear about what we mean by “classic.” For 1spin4win, it means intuitive gameplay, clean design and minimal audio and sound effects, combined with a wide range of themes, with fruit not being the only direction.

Still, simplicity alone is not enough. A classic slot needs balanced mathematics and thoughtful design built around player needs. When these elements come together, the result is a timeless game with strong retention and a long lifecycle.

That is why classic slots are becoming increasingly valuable as a proven part of a casino portfolio. This does not mean the industry is turning away from innovation. It simply shows that operators also need reliable games that are easy to understand, enjoyable to return to and capable of delivering value over time. Our recent results show that this approach continues to work. In H1 2026, our GGR increased by 47%, bet count by 46%, and player count by 59% year over year.

How do you feel your localization techniques have matured as you have continued to expand across new markets?

Our localization approach has become much more detailed as we have expanded. Today, we offer games in 10 languages, support multiple fiat and cryptocurrencies and ensure stable performance across devices and low-bandwidth networks.

We also develop both universal and market-specific content. Classic fruit- and coin-based slots perform well across Europe, Latin America and Africa. While themes inspired by animals, local culture, Aztec motifs, mythology or sports help us respond to more specific regional preferences.

The biggest change is that we now rely much more on player data and direct partner feedback. We look at what players choose, which games they return to and which formats perform best in each market, rather than treating Latin America or Africa as a single audience.

What can you tell us about your fruit-themed slot offerings with regard to innovation and their evolving demand across the globe over the past five years?

Fruit slots remain an indispensable part of the 1spin4win portfolio, and we continue to release them every month alongside themed and seasonal games. They still rank among our strongest-performing titles and dominate the H1 2026 charts among all games we released to date

For us, innovation in fruit slots is mainly about developing the format through new mechanics, reel structures, bonus features, jackpots and mathematical models. Across more than 200 titles, we have created 86 unique mathematical models to keep the gameplay fresh

How do you approach balancing promotion and product to ensure effective customer retention in developing regions such as LatAm or Africa?

In markets such as Latin America and Africa, retention depends on more than themes and mechanics. The game also needs to be easy to access and perform well on mobile devices and weaker networks. A strong promotion will not create lasting value if the underlying product is slow or unstable.

That is why we combine targeted promotional support with lightweight HTML5 games, intuitive interfaces, and carefully balanced mathematics. Promotions help players discover the content and keep the session engaging, while strong product performance gives them a reason to return. This approach helps 1spin4win maintain a month-to-month player retention rate of over 40%

Over the past year, we have strengthened our position in Latin America through partnerships with operators such as Stake.mx, Fortuna Juegos, and TriunfoBet. Africa is still a market where we are testing different approaches and learning which formats perform best.
