Looking back, thinking forwards: Relum's ICE preview

Relum CEO Edmond Ghulyan discusses how ICE informs plans for the annual calendar, key milestones for the company and strategic plans for the year ahead.

Relum’s ICE 2025 focused largely on a year of expansion ahead – how do you now reflect on the year as we turn over into 2026?

Reflecting on 2025, it’s clear that Relum has indeed experienced a year of remarkable growth and strategic expansion. We saw strong growth across every part of the business – from the size of our portfolio to our global market reach – and, perhaps most importantly, that growth translated into real value for our partners. Expanding to more than 280 providers and over 40,000 games and upgrading core tools like our Jackpot Engine, helped us build a much stronger foundation for the upcoming years.

We also made major progress in data and reporting. Better access to aggregated reports, faster insights and the launch of the Relum Client Area made it easier for partners to track performance, manage upcoming releases and oversee promotions – all from one place. These improvements simplified everyday operations and increased transparency. Combined with the strengthening of our leadership team, 2025 positioned Relum to be more agile, more competitive and fully prepared for the next stage of growth as we move into 2026.

Are there any specific business areas of focus that Relum is looking to showcase at this year’s ICE?

ICE Barcelona is always one of the most important events on our calendar and really sets the tone for the year ahead, so we always approach it with a lot of focus and preparation. We already have a full schedule of key meetings planned with both existing partners and potential new ones, which makes ICE especially valuable for us.

Our focus at ICE will be on demonstrating the next phase of our aggregation technology. This includes our expanded game portfolio, the upgraded Jackpot Engine, and enhanced reporting and client-area tools. We want partners to see how our solutions go beyond aggregation, offering a fully integrated infrastructure that provides them with flexibility, scalability and innovative engagement tools.

How do you think Relum’s mission fits into the ‘Growing the Power of Play’ theme of this year’s conference?

For us, growing the power of play means helping operators turn content into long-term engagement. Relum’s mission is focused on giving partners the tools to make play more dynamic, more adaptable and more effective across different markets. Through a broad and diverse game portfolio, flexible gamification features and data-driven insights, operators can shape experiences that match player preferences and regional expectations.

The theme fits naturally with what we do because real growth in play comes from smart personalisation, strong engagement mechanics and the ability to evolve quickly.

What do you think will surprise delegates the most about Relum’s set up at ICE this year?

What will likely surprise delegates most is how much Relum has evolved – not just in terms of technology, but also in how we present ourselves. Over the past year, we’ve invested heavily in strengthening our brand image and identity, and ICE will be the first place many people see that transformation. We’re introducing our new mascot, Reloo – the little blue traveller who crossed galaxies to help make aggregation faster, smarter and more fun – alongside a new stand design that reflects this fresh direction.

Beyond the visuals, the setup is very hands-on and practical. Rather than simply talking about features, we’re showing how operators can actually use our tools in real-life scenarios. From configuring customisable jackpots to exploring reporting dashboards and managing portfolios, visitors will see how easily our platform adapts to different markets and strategies. For many, this changes the perception of aggregation from something static into something dynamic, flexible and surprisingly intuitive – all experienced live, in one place.

What are your three key goals for the conference, and how does your prep for ICE – specifically – differ from other industry events on the annual calendar?

Our goals for ICE are focused on both relationships and direction. First, we want to strengthen connections with our existing partners through more tailored demonstrations and strategic conversations. At the same time, ICE is a key opportunity to start new partnerships by showing the full scope of what Relum offers today. Finally, we want to clearly position Relum as a future-ready aggregation partner by demonstrating our leadership in technology, engagement tools and market adaptability.

Preparation for ICE is different from other events. We place a strong emphasis on live demos, one-on-one meetings and practical walkthroughs of our upgraded tools, rather than static presentations. The goal is for delegates to leave not just knowing what we do, but understanding how our products can actively support growth, engagement and compliance in real operational environments.
