The Louisiana Gaming Control Board has reported the state’s total gaming activity for December 2025, as land-based and riverboat properties generated $223.3m of casino revenue, equating to growth of 9.8%.
For riverboat casinos, Golden Nugget Lake Charles and L’Auberge Lake Charles led all properties with $28.8m and $28.1m of revenue for the monthly period, respectively, having risen 4.9% and 10.2%.
L’Auberge Baton Rouge managed to generate $14.3m of revenue for an increase of 2% year-over-year, while Horseshoe Shreveport reported $14.1m of revenue and rose 7.2%. Margaritaville Resort Casino and Boomtown Casino & Hotel reported December 2025 revenues of $13.5m and $8.6m, respectively, but fell 14.4% and 11.2%.
Live! Casino Louisiana, which made its official debut in 2025, generated $12m of revenue, followed closely by The Queen of Baton Rouge which increased revenue by 2.7% to $7.6m for December.
Treasure Chest Casino managed $13m of December 2025 revenue and grew 7.3%, while Bally’s Shreveport and Horseshoe St. Charles produced monthly revenues of $7.8m and $7.6m, respectively.
Caesars New Orleans, the state’s only land-based property which reports to the Gaming Control Board, generated $28.6m of revenue for December and increased 12.7%. Louisiana is also home to four racetrack facilities, which combined to produce $26.9m of gaming revenue and rose 2%.
Delta Downs Casino grew revenue by 8.1% to $14.3m, while Louisiana Downs reported $2.9m of December 2025 revenue but fell 7.2%. Evangeline Downs and Fair Grounds generated $6.6m and $3.1m of revenue for December 2025, respectively, decreasing 0.2% and 6.9%.
Mobile sports betting operations in Louisiana produced $60.2m of net proceeds for December 2025 and increased 65%, while the $373.4m of handle generated during the month represents growth of 3%.
On the retail side, handle for December 2025 was $24.7m, equating to a decrease of 13.2%, while net proceeds failed to change year-over-year after totaling $3.3m for the period.
