To begin, how do you reflect on your first full year as Slotegrator COO and the progress made during that time?
I couldn’t have asked for a better first year. Right out of the gate, we had a major rebranding, which was a chance to unite all the different teams in a new direction for the company, as well as updating our image to reflect the internal changes that we’d been enacting for so long.
One of the biggest achievements is certainly the launch of Predictor by Slotegrator, our prediction market engine. As it’s based on a P2P exchange mechanic with an AMM algorithm for pricing, instead of just using the same fixed-odds model that sportsbooks employ, it’s a real prediction market engine.
Events are a huge part of the iGaming industry, and we’ve seen fantastic results from the events we attended in the past year. Of course, none of this would be possible without our fantastic team – a team that we’re looking to grow as our big hiring drive continues.
How do you feel your previous experience has informed the philosophies and leadership strategies you’ve implemented at Slotegrator?
In a way, especially with the rebranding, Slotegrator gave me the opportunity to implement the theoretical and practical approaches to leadership that I’d developed in my previous positions, but on a bigger scale.
Every successful rebranding effort begins with an honest conversation about what the company has become
Business processes fascinate me. How do you develop the team, establish the workflow and implement new and better processes to increase success for clients and the company?
This pursuit has been a passion of mine throughout all of my previous experience in project management team lead positions.
If you could pinpoint one key learning from your first year, what would that be?
Trust is the foundation of your relationship with your team members.
As a leader, the best thing you can do is share your vision and empower your team members to chase it. When they feel supported, they’ll surprise you with how driven and creative they can be. Find the right people, put them in the right place and make sure they have everything they need... and you’re going to get some great results.
I can’t really call it a lesson I’ve learned, because it’s something I’ve believed for a while; but the past year has really let me see this principle in action. This was true for our big product launch, for our success at industry events and for our streamlined processes.
How do you feel the recent rebranding has shaped the company's strategy for 2027 from an operational standpoint?
Every successful rebranding effort begins with an honest conversation about what the company has become, versus what it started as. Slotegrator was launched in 2012, but the industry’s trends, demands and expectations have shifted drastically since then; and so Slotegrator learned to evolve, too.
Now, over a decade later, we wanted our public image to reflect our status as a bold, structured and adaptable business that leads its clients with confidence through the ever-changing iGaming landscape.
This adaptability is the cornerstone of Slotegrator’s operational strategy for the coming year. We have completed several analyses of the industry, and our expert teams are putting together new offers and packages to help our clients through the obstacles we anticipate will hinder global iGaming traffic in 2027.
Walk us through the design, implementation and launch process of Predictor and other additional new product releases that have come in the past 12 months.
Our market analysis singled out prediction markets fairly early on in their lifecycle, and it wasn't long before the social demand for them became hard to ignore.
The peer-to-peer model of prediction markets makes them ideal for modern customers who are seeking out natural and engaging social interactions, fair mechanics and independent results. They are a fundamentally human product, driven by intuition and powered by curiosity. That’s why we came to the decision early on to use the P2P model as the basis for our product; to use any other mechanism would be to deny the players the true experience that they’re looking for. We want our clients to be able to offer the real deal. Players expect – and deserve – nothing less.
Trust is the foundation of your relationship with your team members
The depth and potential of the market is also astounding. Events can be created for any topic, no matter how niche or unconventional to the betting world they are. This was a truly pioneering idea, and we knew we wanted to support the vision through our Predictor product.
What can you tell us about any new product releases on the horizon?
At Slotegrator, we are always focused on supporting our clients with new product releases, whether they are launching new games or pushing the boundaries with new verticals and genres. This will not change as we enter the new year.
But as part of our philosophy to be at the forefront of evolution, we are currently testing some interesting adaptations to some of our flagship products. These should address new demands from the modern iGaming world, but we cannot share the particulars on this just yet.
We are still finalizing the last few changes to ensure a seamless client experience, but when we are ready, the industry will know.
