Seneca Resorts & Casinos has made four new appointments to its corporate leadership team, part of the operator’s Centers of Excellence organizational model which is designed to identify operational efficiencies and appropriate consistencies across its retail properties. 

Joanne Israel, who previously served as Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino GM, has now been appointed as Chief Strategy Officer after originally joining Seneca Resorts & Casinos in 2011. 

Former Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino GM Linda Hitchcock will now serve as SVP of Food & Beverage for Seneca Resorts & Casinos, while Chama Darcy was named Corporate VP of Food & Beverage. 

Maybee saw his VP of Corporate Security role expanded to include oversight of security strategy at each of the operator’s three retail properties, with all four hires currently enrolled as Seneca Nation members. 

“As we approach our 25th year, we are creating a model that not only focuses on service delivery and driving revenue growth, but one that promotes sustainable success in the rapidly-changing gaming, hospitality and entertainment environment for the next quarter century and beyond,” Seneca Resorts & Casinos President and CEO Kevin Nephew said. 

“Joanne, Linda, Chama and Peter are accomplished professionals and visionary, committed and respected leaders within our organization. We are excited for them to take on their new leadership roles as we chart this important new path.”

Darcy and Hitchcock will work to develop food & beverage strategy across Seneca Resorts & Casinos’ retail properties, as well as brand standards for the operator. 

The Centers of Excellence model was also designed to aid in talent identification and development for Seneca Resorts and Casinos’ succession planning, as well as form strategic responsibility for key revenue drivers.
