Betsson Greece has expanded its anti-bullying CSR programme with a seminar focused on sport, workplace conduct and women’s professional development.
The event was held with the Greek Association of Women Entrepreneurs (S.E.G.E.) at the Olympic Museum of Athens on 29 April 2026. It forms part of a programme launched in December 2025 under the message: “Say no to fear. No to bullying. We bet we can.”
The initiative sits within Betsson’s broader Greek sports and community strategy. The operator has built a local sponsorship portfolio across basketball, football and water polo, including Peristeri Betsson, Alimos NAS Betsson and activity with the Hellenic Football Federation.
The seminar included a presentation by psychologist Stella Argyriou on mobbing in workplaces and sport. Panels featured representatives from Peristeri Betsson, Alimos NAS Betsson, Girl Power, S.E.G.E. and Betsson Group’s HR team.
Betsson and S.E.G.E. also presented a programme covering workplace bullying prevention and management through education, workshops, mentoring and awareness activity.
The focus on workplace conduct comes as Greek employment rules require employers with more than 20 staff to adopt policies against workplace violence and harassment and establish complaint-handling procedures.
The campaign also reflects a wider policy focus in Greece on bullying prevention. In 2024, the Greek Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports adopted a national school strategy that included an online reporting platform and teacher training measures.
Betsson said the initiative will continue in June with another seminar aimed at public awareness and discussion.
Betsson’s CSR activity in Greece has developed alongside its sports marketing expansion. Earlier this month, Betsson closed May with padel sponsorships in Buenos Aires and Rome, extending a sports portfolio that includes the Davis Cup, Club Brugge and the Betsson Greek Cup.
Betsson launched the Betsson Foundation in Greece to support local social initiatives alongside its sports sponsorship activity
