Noifeld will remain in the company for the next few months for a handover and a smooth transition

Asaf Noifeld has announced on LinkedIn that he will leave Flutter Entertainment after more than 12 years.

Originally joining PokerStars in 2014 as Director of Product and Innovation and then Managing Director for the casino, he then made the move to FanDuel as Managing Director in 2022.

In a LinkedIn post, Noifeld reflected on the decision, “What a journey it’s been. Time for the next chapter.”

As the parent company for both brands, Flutter Entertainment’s PokerStars was a poker-only, private company at the time and Noifeld expressed elation at the thought of joining after receiving a call from the casino’s first MD, as Sam Hocraft, who told him, “We’re going to build the biggest online Casino in the world, from scratch.”

To which Noifeld replied, “You guys are a bit crazy, I'm coming.”

Noifeld spent more than eight years at PokerStars before moving to the US and joining FanDuel as Managing Director, saying, “I learned a lot along the way about products, strategy, leadership, growth, pressure, competition, but mostly about people, and how much can be accomplished when great people are working together as one team.

“I was lucky to work with many exceptional leaders and teammates, and even luckier to build real friendships through this journey.”

An alumnus of Tel Aviv University, Noifeld acquired his Bachelor of Science and then later an MBA.

Noifeld stated that he will remain in the company over the next few months for a smooth handover during the transitional period.
