Fortuna CZ has appointed Czech snowboarder Zuzana Maděrová as an ambassador, extending the operator’s sports sponsorship activity beyond team partnerships into individual athlete representation.

Maděrová won gold in the women’s parallel giant slalom at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, following the elimination of Czech teammate Ester Ledecká in the quarter-finals. The result gave Czech snowboarding another high-profile Olympic title and raised Maděrová’s profile ahead of the next winter sports cycle.

The partnership will focus on content around alpine snowboarding and fan engagement.

Maděrová said: “I believe that together we can offer fans a new look behind the scenes of alpine snowboarding and bring this sport a little closer to them.”

Fortuna CZ Marketing Director, Milan Raska, said Maděrová was “close to her fans,” describing that as part of the reason for the agreement.

The deal follows a broader sponsorship push by Fortuna CZ in women’s sport. In 2024, it became the first general partner of the Czech women’s top football league, now branded FORTUNA=LIGA Women. It also partnered with Czech Hockey in 2025 across junior, men’s and women’s national teams, including support around the Women’s Ice Hockey World Championship staged in the Czech Republic.

Fortuna operates in a regulated Czech betting market overseen by the Ministry of Finance. Recent legal changes have kept operator compliance and taxation in focus, with odds betting and several other gambling verticals taxed at 30% of GGR, while lotteries and technical games remain at 35%.

The ambassador agreement also sits within Fortuna Entertainment Group’s wider Central and Eastern European activity. The group has expanded through recent acquisitions, including a 70% stake in Lithuania’s TOPsport and a 51% stake in Montenegro operator Lob.

Last month, Fortuna Poland became the exclusive betting partner of digital media platform Kanał Zero, expanding its sponsorship and audience engagement activity in Poland.
