PrizePicks has been formally unveiled as the Official Partner of the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and State Farm Arena.
Indeed, this collaboration will see the company engage in a number of brand activations, including promotions across digital platforms, TV broadcasts and game statistic updates. PrizePicks branding will also be displayed via in-arena signage, multimedia broadcasts and digital platforms as part of this latest partnership.
The deal will also see a premium hospitality space in the State Farm Arena renamed to the PrizePicks Party Deck, with promotions and activations set to be featured within the space set to feature through a number of NBA games, comedy shows and musical concerts held in the arena.
Commenting on this development was PrizePicks SVP of Partnerships, Joey Molko, who stated: "PrizePicks was born in Atlanta and basketball has always been part of our soul, so we couldn't be more excited that our first NBA franchise partnership is with our hometown team. The Hawks share our obsession with bringing fans closer to the game, and we can't wait to join them in making every game more fun to watch and to celebrate basketball culture in The A."
This newly brokered arrangement comes closely following PrizePicks’ deal with the NBA, which saw the operator named as the association’s official DFS Partner in April. More recently, the company also unveiled an additional partnership with HMA, signaling a shift towards more hyper-localized marketing as part of the ‘largest partnership’ in HMA’s history.
Also speaking on this latest deal was Andrew Saltzman, President of Business Enterprise for the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena, who said: "We are thrilled to be the first NBA franchise to partner with PrizePicks. As two organizations with deep roots in Atlanta, we look forward to building something truly special together and creating new opportunities to deliver unique and engaging experiences to our fans."
PrizePicks was initially founded in the city of Atlanta, Georgia in 2015
