The government of Argentina's Chaco province and provincial lottery operator Lotería Chaqueña have signed an agreement to fund new infrastructure works at the grounds of the Liga Chaqueña de Fútbol, the regional football league based in Resistencia.
The deal was signed by Chaco Governor Leandro Zdero, Lotería Chaqueña president Lucas Apud Masín and league president Raúl Mosqueda.
It covers the full perimeter enclosure of the league's facility, located near the Resistencia airport, along with fencing around three football pitches and the construction of two access gates.
Officials said the works aim to improve security and optimize conditions for sports and recreational activities at the site. The league said the project responds to a longstanding request from its members and will benefit the 52 clubs that make up the Liga Chaqueña de Fútbol, along with delegations from across the province that use the facility for competitions and matches.
Also present at the signing were Fabio Vázquez, President of the Instituto del Deporte Chaqueño, Lotería Chaqueña Board Member Gabriela Galarza, and representatives of several clubs from the province.
The agreement was formalized during the week Chaco launched the 2026 edition of Deporbingo, a lottery bingo product whose proceeds are distributed to sports clubs and associations across the province.
Lotería Chaqueña has signed a series of similar infrastructure agreements with sports clubs across the province in recent years, including infrastructure improvement for clubs in Las Breñas, Lapachito, La Eduvigis and Resistencia, funded through lottery proceeds under the provincial sports development program run jointly with the Instituto del Deporte Chaqueño.
The 2025 edition of Deporbingo helped 258 clubs and community organizations raise more than ARS227m ($153,000) through ticket sales, with participating institutions retaining 70% of each ticket sold
