Gentoo Media has appointed Måns Svalborn as the affiliate’s new CFO, effective in early October 2026, where he will replace Mads Haugegaard Albrechtsen who resigned from the position just one week after presenting Q1 2026 results in May.
"Måns is a highly experienced CFO with a strong track record in the affiliate industry. His combination of listed-company experience, deep financial expertise and proven leadership within listed iGaming affiliate businesses makes him an excellent addition to Gentoo Media,” CEO Jonas Warrer said.
“I am confident he will play an important role as we continue executing on our long-term growth strategy. I would also like to extend my thanks to ESR Talent for their support throughout the recruitment process."
Svalborn most recently served as Group CFO of Raketech Group Holding for over six years, where he played a “central role” in financial strategy, financing, capital markets activities and corporate governance.
Prior to joining the iGaming field, Svalborn built a career in banking and audit, including roles at Nordea Bank and Ernst & Young.
Addressing his new appointment, Svalborn said: "I'm delighted to be joining Gentoo Media at such an exciting stage of the company's journey.
“Gentoo Media has built a portfolio of highly recognised brands and established a strong position in the global affiliate market. I look forward to working with the team to build on that success and create long-term value for our shareholders."
The appointment was said to help “strengthen” Gentoo Media’s executive management team as the affiliate continues to execute long-term growth strategy and strengthen its position across the space.
Albrechtsen departed the CFO position less than 15 months after being appointed to the role, although both parties are in a "close and constructive dialogue" to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities.
Gentoo Media reported Q1 2026 revenue of €24.0m on 22 May, down 5% year-on-year as lower sports margins in February offset improved profitability from its ongoing restructuring programme
