ThrillTech has expanded its presence in regulated markets after obtaining a Gaming-Related Supplier licence from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), allowing the company to offer its side-bet jackpot technology to licensed online casino, sports betting and lottery operators across the province.
The approval marks the supplier's latest regulatory milestone and enables existing multinational operator partners with a presence in Ontario to introduce ThrillTech's flagship ThrillPots product to local players.
The company also confirmed it is in discussions with additional operators seeking to enhance their product offerings within the regulated market.
ThrillPots is an opt-in, player-funded side-bet jackpot system designed to operate independently of an operator's core gaming products. According to ThrillTech, the technology overlays existing casino games and sportsbook offerings without altering gameplay or the return-to-player (RTP) mathematics of the underlying titles.
Commenting on the development, ThrillTech Co-Founder Benjamin Bradtke stated: “Securing our AGCO licence is a major step in our mission to transform how jackpots are delivered at scale across regulated markets.
"This latest certification is a testament to our robust technology and trusted compliance frameworks, allowing us to continue our global growth trajectory.
"We are thrilled to bring our proven, compliant jackpot technology to Ontario, empowering locally licensed operators to uplift revenue without cannibalising existing spend.”
The development follows the company's recent expansion efforts, including securing a Gibraltar B2B supplier licence in June and strengthening its leadership team earlier this year with the appointment of former Bragg Gaming executive Giles Potter as CMO.
Ontario is one of North America's largest regulated online gambling markets, having launched its competitive iGaming framework in April 2022
