Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has expanded its responsible gaming efforts through a series of World Cup-themed initiatives across Macau. The campaign aims to promote responsible entertainment while raising public awareness of safer gambling practices.

Branded as the "GEG Responsible Gaming Promotional Program: Football World Cup Series," the campaign supports the Macau SAR Government's latest responsible gaming theme, "Learn RG, Keep the Fun Alive." Since April, the operator has partnered with several local social service organizations to deliver educational activities targeting employees, youth, tourists and the wider community.

Among the key initiatives was the "World Cup Goal Challenge: Clear Eyes, Responsible Plays," organized in partnership with the Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Service Coordination Office. Hosted in the back-of-house areas of Galaxy Macau and StarWorld Hotel, the program featured interactive games, educational displays, and on-site counseling services to help employees better understand gambling-related risks, recognize warning signs of gambling disorders, and seek support when needed.

GEG also participated in the "RG Man Competition – World Cup Special Edition" organized by the Macao Leisure Industry Employees Home before extending responsible gaming messages into the community through outreach activities during the tournament. In addition, the company supported the "World Cup Forum Theatre Tour: Gambling on the Line," encouraging gaming employees to attend performances highlighting healthy sports participation and responsible gambling.

Youth engagement also formed a key part of the campaign. GEG supported the Macao New Chinese Youth Association's online "Smart Sight MAX" World Cup program while mobilizing its football team, volunteer team, and Responsible Gaming Ambassadors to participate in football-themed community events promoting healthy lifestyles.

The operator said it remains committed to embedding responsible gaming into its corporate culture. Since establishing Macau's first dedicated Responsible Gaming Team, GEG has recorded more than 250,000 participations in responsible gaming training and promotional activities. Nearly 140 employees from more than 10 departments have also completed government-recognized responsible gaming certification programs.
