The hotel becomes part of RWS's wider accommodation portfolio, which includes more than 1,900 rooms, suites and villas across its Sentosa properties

Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has opened Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong, marking the refurbishment of an existing hotel property in the Jurong Lake District.

The 557-room property opened on 22 July and is located along Jurong Town Hall Road, giving RWS a hospitality presence outside its main integrated resort operations on Sentosa.

The 15-storey hotel is positioned within Jurong Gateway, close to Jurong East MRT station, the International Business Park and several shopping and leisure destinations. Connectivity to the area is expected to improve further with the planned Jurong Region Line in 2029 and Cross Island Line by 2032.

Alongside its guestrooms, the property includes several facilities aimed at business and leisure travellers. Its meetings and events offering is centred around the 426-square-metre Genting Ballroom, which can be divided into three sections and accommodate up to 330 guests for seated dining.

Five additional meeting rooms are available for corporate functions, while a rooftop Sky Lounge and adjoining lawn provide outdoor event space. Other facilities include an all-day dining restaurant, swimming pool, 24-hour fitness centre and self-service laundromat.

The opening comes as Jurong Lake District continues its development as Singapore's second Central Business District, potentially creating additional accommodation demand from corporate travellers, events and leisure visitors in the western part of the city.

For RWS, the property broadens a hotel portfolio currently concentrated around its Sentosa integrated resort, which combines accommodation with attractions, entertainment and casino gaming.

RWS currently operates six other hotel properties at its integrated resort, including The Laurus, Crockfords Tower, Equarius Hotel, Equarius Villas, Hotel Michael and Hotel Ora. Together, those properties provide more than 1,900 rooms, suites and villas.

Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong also participates in Marriott International's Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programme.

Good to know

The hotel is within walking distance of Jurong East MRT station and will gain additional transport links when the Jurong Region Line opens in 2029
