Ocean Casino Resort has begun its fifth annual Season of Giving campaign which helps support those in need across Atlantic City and the greater south New Jersey community throughout November and December.

The initiative also "culminates" Ocean Casino Resort's year-long philanthropic effort, Ocean Cares, which totaled more than $280,000 in contributions.

"Our team takes great pride in giving back to the community that supports us year-round through Ocean Cares," Ocean Casino Resort GM Bill Callahan said.

"Our giving campaign culminates in the Season of Giving, one of our most meaningful traditions. It allows us to connect with incredible local organizations that make a lasting impact and share the joy of the season in a way that reflects Ocean's values."

The property began its Season of Giving initiative on November 21 following an exclusive event with the South Jersey Field of Dreams, where 13 families were invited to Santa's Hideaway Adventure and received festive photos along with personalized gifts.

Ocean Casino Resort will also be providing 200 turkeys to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and donate $12,000 to the FoodBank's emergency response fund as part of the fifth annual Season of Giving.

The initiative "unites" Ocean Casino Resort team members, guests and community partners in a "shared mission" to provide a positive holiday season for those facing difficulties through charitable giving, volunteer efforts and festive events.

Through Ocean Cares, the property also issued non-monetary donations such as food, cots and essential supplies to local homeless shelters, community facilities and schools.

Ocean Casino Resort currently offers a 135,000 sq ft gaming space with more than 1,750 slot machines, 125 gaming tables and a retail sportsbook for New Jersey consumers.
