Project reflects wider investment in modern retail technology across the betting sector

TVC Technology Solutions has completed a full audiovisual upgrade for Scottish operator ScotBet, providing new display systems, digital signage capability and centralised content management across a number of the operator's betting shops in Scotland.

The project forms part of a broader shift within the UK retail betting sector towards more modern in-shop digital infrastructure.

The work began with a review of ScotBet's existing estate, where TVC identified inconsistent screen formats, ageing displays and limited content management options.

A revised AV plan was created featuring large-format LCD and LED screens, including high-brightness 75-inch displays in key customer areas.

Multi-screen gantries were also installed above service counters to show racing content, live odds and promotional information.

Digital signage was implemented using the MySign platform, enabling ScotBet to update campaigns, odds and announcements more efficiently across locations. TVC said the system was designed to support remote oversight and future scalability.

TVC Sales Director, Andy Greaves, said: "Our employee-owned structure means everyone at TVC is passionately behind every project. We instantly become partners to our betting shop customers, rather than just supply vendors."

The project also included a content-creation service covering animated assets, promotional templates and overlays integrating social feeds and live odds.

TVC stated that combining hardware and content delivery under one provider helped streamline deployment across sites.

The installation mirrors broader investment trends within the betting industry. Last week, Caesars Entertainment opened a new 16,000-square-foot Caesars Sportsbook at Monmouth Park in New Jersey, featuring extensive digital screens, self-service kiosks and dedicated viewing areas.

TVC said it will provide ongoing support for ScotBet's upgraded systems, with additional locations expected to adopt the new configuration as part of the operator's longer-term retail modernisation strategy.
