MGM Resorts International has announced two key leadership appointments. Ayesha Molino will become COO on January 1, 2026, and Gary Fritz has been appointed CCO and President of MGM Digital, effective immediately.
Molino, who currently serves as President and COO of ARIA Resort & Casino and Vdara Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas, and is also MGM Resorts' Chief Public Affairs Officer, will succeed Corey Sanders, who is retiring after more than 30 years with the company.
MGM President and CEO Bill Hornbuckle said of Molino: "An exceptionally gifted strategic thinker and operator who excels at managing through complexity. Ayesha's ability to unite teams, drive results, and navigate challenges makes her the perfect leader to succeed Corey as COO."
According to him, under her leadership, ARIA set records in EBITDAR, annual revenue, hotel and casino revenue, average daily room rate (ADR), and guest satisfaction.
Fritz has been with MGM since 2017 and contributed to advancing its digital strategy. Previously, he served as President of MGM Resorts International Interactive, leading global digital gaming initiatives and sitting on the boards of BetMGM and LeoVegas.
Hornbuckle, who recently affirmed that "Las Vegas isn't dead", credited Fritz for driving acquisitions, partnerships, and BetMGM's expansion into markets such as Brazil.
He added: "Gary is a visionary leader with keen insights and instincts. His new role brings together digital, gaming, marketing, and advertising to accelerate our omni-channel strategy and unlock growth in digital and iGaming."
These appointments come as MGM continues investing in both physical and digital assets, including a $300 million upgrade of MGM Grand Las Vegas and significant capital projects through 2026. The company is also exploring expansion into international casino markets such as Dubai, Brazil, and Japan.
The appointments of Molino and Fritz reinforce MGM Resorts' commitment to growth and innovation across traditional and digital platforms.
CEO Bill Hornbuckle this year extended his contract until the end of 2028, after which point he has the option to become and advisor for MGM in Japan
