Jumbo expects international underlying EBITDA of AU$36-40m in FY27

Jumbo Interactive reported record underlying EBITDA for the financial year ended 30 June 2026, as contributions from its newly acquired UK and US prize draw businesses helped offset a softer Australian lottery jackpot environment.

Underlying EBITDA rose 24.8% year-on-year to AU$85.2m, while revenue increased 33.2% to AU$193.6m. Total transaction value (TTV) climbed 13.0% to AU$1.13bn, although the underlying EBITDA margin eased to 43.2% from 47% a year earlier. Underlying net profit after tax edged up 3.7% to AU$41.4m, with underlying earnings per share increasing 18.6%.

The group said Australia experienced fewer major Powerball and Oz Lotto jackpots during FY26, with 23 jackpots of at least AU$30m, compared with 31 in FY25. There were no jackpots exceeding AU$100m, contributing to an 8.2% decline in Lottery Retailing TTV. However, higher-margin products helped limit the revenue decline to 4.2%, while the SaaS business continued to grow, with TTV rising 15.1%.

FY25 VS FY26 (AU$ M)

International operations provided a significant growth driver following Jumbo's acquisition of Dream Car Giveaways in the UK and Dream Giveaway in the US during October 2025. The new Dream Giveaways segment contributed AU$21.8m in underlying EBITDA, with the US business performing ahead of expectations, while Managed Services recorded underlying EBITDA growth of 18.1% to AU$8.4m.

The company also provided an update on its proposed subcontractor arrangement with Brightstar Lottery, confirming that negotiations over the Player Account Management component had ended without agreement on commercial terms.

Jumbo said the outcome would have an immaterial impact on future EBITDA, while discussions regarding the website and mobile application components remain ongoing. Its existing SaaS agreement with Lotterywest remains unchanged.

Looking ahead, Jumbo reaffirmed its FY27 guidance, targeting an Australian underlying EBITDA margin of 46% to 50% and international underlying EBITDA of AU$36m to AU$40m, reflecting continued confidence in its expanding international operations.
