DraftKings is set to introduce exclusive offers and activations for users on September 2, including free gasoline in select US and Canada markets and the operator’s Take Your Game Anywhere campaign featuring Nick Jonas and Kevin Hart.
The operator’s Gameday Fuel activation will provide free gasoline at select stations in Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta, Detroit, Edmonton and Toronto, while users of DraftKings Sports & Casino will receive a “variety” of exclusive DraftKings Gameday offers.
The new promotions and activations are set to help DraftKings build excitement for the start of the 2026-2027 National Football League (NFL) season, which officially kicks off on September 9.
DraftKings CMO Stephanie Sherman spoke on the September 2 launches, having said, “The start of football season is one of the most exciting times of year at DraftKings, and 2026 marks a major milestone for our company.
“This is our first football season with DraftKings Sports available to fans nationwide, and Gameday is our way of kicking off the season and celebrating our customers by bringing together exclusive offerings, giveaways and unforgettable experiences across the country.”
On August 27, the NFL announced new deals with DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics prior to the start of the 2026-2027 regular season – with each signing multi-year partnership agreements.
According to the operator, giveaways, contests, interactive experiences and appearances from special guests will also be featured at DraftKings Gameday Fuel events, with specific locations and start times still to be announced.
The Take Your Game Anywhere campaign is currently live across television, digital and social platforms, while DraftKings will also donate $50,000 to Disabled American Veterans – a non-profit organization which provides lifetime support to veterans, their families, caregivers and survivors.
DraftKings appears to be making efforts to expand its parlay offering on DKeX – the operator’s in-house prediction market – ahead of the 2026-2027 NFL season as well, having self-certified multi-leg event contract wagers and nine football contracts on August 11.
According to filings with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the contracts would settle on a “joint outcome of two or more constituent contracts listed on DKeX and subject to the terms of Chapter 13 of the DKeX Rulebook.”
DraftKings closed on a $700m senior secured term loan B credit facility and $750m revolving credit facility on August 25, utilized for repurchasing convertible notes and ‘general corporate purposes’
