FY2026 annual results delayed beyond the previously expected August release
Board meeting postponed to no later than September 18
Trading in Century Entertainment shares remains suspended

Century Entertainment has announced a further delay to the publication of its annual results for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, extending the timeline beyond its previously anticipated release by the end of August.

The Hong Kong-listed company said additional time is required to complete its audited financial statements and related disclosures to ensure full compliance with the Stock Exchange's reporting requirements. As a result, the board meeting originally scheduled to approve the results has been postponed again and will now be held on or before September 18.

The delay means Century remains in breach of Hong Kong Listing Rules requiring annual results to be published within three months of the financial year-end and the annual report to be distributed within four months. The company also warned that dispatch of its FY2026 annual report is likely to be delayed, with a revised timetable to be announced later.

Century said it had decided not to release unaudited management accounts because they may not accurately reflect the group's financial position and could create confusion for investors. Despite the reporting delay, the company said its business operations continue as normal.

The latest announcement follows an update issued last month, when Century attributed the delay primarily to an ongoing IT audit conducted by Crowe (HK) CPA. The review covers the group's gaming platform, including system architecture, data integrity, access controls and operational continuity.

According to the company, the audit has required extensive coordination between its external auditor, its Shenzhen-based IT team and its technology service provider. As the review represents the first comprehensive audit of Century's cross-border gaming platform and technology-driven gaming revenue streams, additional time has been needed to verify audit trails and complete technical documentation.

Century previously stressed that the delay does not stem from any disagreement with its auditor or concerns over its financial reporting. Management has allocated additional financial and human resources to support the audit, while the audit committee continues to oversee the process.

Trading in Century Entertainment shares has been suspended since June 26, 2025, and will remain suspended until further notice. The company said it will issue further announcements if there are any material developments regarding the publication of its annual results or trading resumption.
