Bet365 has launched its online sportsbook in Washington, DC. The launch also coincides with a new multi-year partnership between bet365 and Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE), which will make the operator a partner of the Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards and Washington Mystics.
The partnership will give bet365 visibility across MSE’s sports properties and media platforms. The operator will feature through virtual signage during Capitals games, as well as pre-game and in-game advertising during Capitals, Wizards and Mystics broadcasts.
Bet365 Head of Development Trip Stoddard stated: “Bringing bet365 to our nation’s capital expands our reach in the U.S. and establishes our presence in one of the country’s most dynamic sports markets.
“Our partnership with Monumental Sports & Entertainment gives us an exciting opportunity to introduce bet365 to Capitals, Wizards and Mystics fans and build lasting connections across Washington, D.C.”
The operator highlighted responsible gambling tools within its app, including spending and session limits. The launch expands bet365’s footprint in North America following recent launches in West Virginia and Alberta. DC represents the operator's 19th US market.
The operator launched in Michigan in April. There, bet365 partnered with Michigan’s most iconic sports and entertainment brands, the Detroit Red Wings and 313 Presents.
