The New York State Gaming Commission (NYSGC) has reported the state’s total casino activity for July 2026, as the four commercial operators which report monthly statistics to the regulator generated $64.9m of gross gaming revenue (GGR) for growth of 7.1%.

Rivers Casino and Resort led all commercial properties with just over $21.6m of revenue for July, equating to a rise of 10.9%, while Resorts World Catskills generated $17.5m and fell 1.3%.
Of the $21.6m generated by Rivers Casino and Resort, just over $16.9m stemmed from retail slot machines and ETGs, representing growth of 9.6%. The property also generated $4.1m of table game revenue, $336,871 of poker table revenue and $208,009 from retail sports betting.

Resorts World Catskills followed the leading New York property with $17.5m of revenue for July, although the figure does equate to decrease of 1.3%. Slot machine and EGT revenue totaled $9.2m and fell 4.8%, while table game revenue actually increased 3.6% to nearly $8.1m.
Tioga Downs Casino produced $9.9m of GGR and rose 7.8%, with del Lago Resort & Casino managing to increase July revenue 11.7% to $15.8m. Tioga Downs reported $8.9m of slot machine & ETG revenue and $958,794 from table games, equating to rises of 5.7% and 40.2%.
The Churchill Downs-owned property generated just over $12.8m of revenue from slot machines and ETGs, equating to growth of 11%, as well as an increase of 19% for table game revenue to $2.8m.
On September 11, the NYSGC reported the state’s mobile sports wagering activity for August 2026, as operators produced $168.5m of GGR, representing a decrease of 5.5%. During the monthly period, New York’s online sports betting handle also decreased year-over-year, falling 15.3% to $1.73bn.
