International Game Technology (IGT) has appointed Adam Chibib as the supplier’s new CFO – set to go into effect on November 1 – where he will be looked upon to help “advance its financial and operational transformation.”
"Adam brings the public company, private equity and gaming experience we need for this stage of IGT's transformation," IGT CEO Hector Fernandez said.
“His financial discipline and operating mindset will be important as we sharpen execution and strengthen cash flow creation. I also want to thank Fabio for more than two decades of leadership and commitment to IGT. He has helped guide the company through significant change and has been a trusted partner across the business."
Chibib will take over the CFO role from Fabio Celadon on November 1, while Celadon will remain with the supplier through the end of 2026 as an Advisor to help IGT with the transition.
As CFO, he will lead IGT’s global finance organization and help align financial strategy, capital priorities and business execution to support long-term objectives. IGT is currently undergoing a “transformation” focused on “operating discipline, portfolio performance and cash flow creation” across its various businesses.
Prior to joining IGT, Chibib served as CFO of Raptor Technologies and was previously Chairman of American Gaming Systems (AGS), having become the supplier’s first-ever independent Board member.
Chibib also held the Chairman position on AGS’ Audit Committee and served on the supplier’s Compensation Committee during his tenure, which lasted from January 2018 to July 2025.
Speaking on his new appointment, Chibib said: "IGT has a strong portfolio, leading market positions and a clear opportunity to create value.
"I look forward to working with Hector, the leadership team and the finance organization to strengthen financial and operating discipline, align capital with our highest priorities and build a durable foundation for growth."
In March, IGT unveiled plans to lay off approximately 700 employees, prior to confirming a shutdown of its electronic table games division by 2027 on July 15.
While the supplier’s ETG business had grown to offer blackjack, baccarat and roulette capabilities, the need for large amounts of casino floor space to host the games appeared as the main concern for IGT in its decision.
