Swedish gambling operator ATG has reorganised its Product, Commercial and IT responsibilities, creating a dedicated Product division as part of changes effective from 1 October.
The new division consolidates responsibility for developing ATG's digital products and services. Jesper Komstadius, previously Head of Product, has become CPO and joined the operator's management team. His previous experience includes serving as Nordic Marketing Manager at Samsung.
ATG has also redefined its Commercial division, led by CCO Katarina Widman. Horseracing, sports betting and casino will each have more consolidated responsibility for their respective offerings, marketing and sales.
The changes concern how ATG allocates organisational responsibilities across its existing operations rather than the launch of a new consumer product.
The IT division will concentrate on areas including operational stability, cybersecurity, platforms and data. Therese Haeggblom Widmark, previously Head of Development and acting CIO, has been appointed CIO and has also joined the management team. Daniel Santikos is due to leave ATG during the autumn.
ATG CFO and deputy CEO, Lotta Nilsson, said: "With the new Product division's clearer responsibility, we have better conditions to develop our products and services, make the right priorities and use our development capacity where it makes the greatest difference."
The restructure comes during a period of wider management transition. Jörgen Forsberg has served as acting CEO since March, while Anna Romboli is scheduled to take over permanently in December.
ATG is owned by Sweden's trotting and gallop racing sectors and operates across horseracing, sports betting and casino. Sweden's licensed gambling market generated SEK7.4bn ($792.9m) in revenue during Q2 2026, up 5.1% year-on-year, while commercial online gambling and betting increased by more than 7%.
Earlier this year, Global Gaming Insider reported that ATG's Q1 net gaming revenue reached SEK1.21bn, up approximately 0.5% year-on-year, while operating profit increased 22.1% to SEK326m. Casino revenue grew, sports betting declined by around 11% and horseracing remained broadly flat.
ATG generated total revenue of SEK6.0bn in 2025 and provided approximately SEK2.3bn in funding to its owners, Svensk Travsport and Svensk Galopp
