VGW has announced the launch of LuckyLand Casino, an online social casino platform added to its Social Plus brand portfolio.
LuckyLand Casino provides a digital environment for free-to-play casino games including social blackjack, roulette, baccarat and other table games. It also features content developed by VGW's in-house studios.
The launch is an expansion of VGW's existing online social gaming offerings and reflects the company's continued focus on developing new platforms for players.
The platform includes social live casino options, extending beyond slot games to include interactive experiences across multiple game types.
Elsewhere in Australia, the federal government proposed to exclude gambling and tobacco from R&D tax incentives, while New South Wales planned to end 4 a.m. exemptions for over 670 pokies venues to address gambling-related harm.
Laurence Escalante, VGW Founder and CEO, stated: "LuckyLand Casino is a new brand built around adventure, innovation and pure fun - and it's exciting to be getting this to players after much work from many teams"
"We wanted to create a fresh, modern brand that offers a diverse array of games, features and entertainment at our industry-leading level of standards and we couldn't be happier with what players can now experience and enjoy."
VGW had announced it would withdraw its Chumba Casino and Global Poker sweepstakes products from Canada as of 23 October 2025, citing that the majority of its players are in the US and the Canadian market represents a relatively small portion of its business.
The company also began winding down its sweepstakes operations in New York ahead of new legislation that would ban such promotions.
In summer 2025, VGW also confirmed the removal of its Chumba Casino and LuckyLand Casino sweepstakes offerings in New Jersey ahead of a state-wide ban
