Fortune Joker is a new slot series from AMATIC Online, combining a classic fruit-machine setup with a feature set built around the Joker Wild and Bonus Spins.

The series comes in three 5x3 versions: Fortune Joker 5, Fortune Joker 10 and Fortune Joker 20, with 5, 10 and 20 paylines respectively. Fortune Joker 5 and Fortune Joker 10 are the first two releases in the series, with Fortune Joker 20 set to complete the line-up on 24 September. Fortune Joker 40 and Fortune Joker 100 will extend the series further in the near future.

Across the games, the familiar fruit-slot format is accompanied by Stacked and Scatter Symbols, Wild Substitutions, Expanding Wilds, Bonus Spins, alongside additional features including Extra Bet, Bonus Hunt, and the option to buy Extra Bonus Spins.

Base game and symbols

The base game uses a classic AMATIC-style setup, with watermelons, grapes, oranges, lemons and cherries plums appearing alongside familiar casino symbols such as sevens and horseshoes.

Regular symbols, with the exception of the seven, can appear stacked, with several copies of the same symbol occupying adjacent positions on a reel.

There are also two different Scatter symbols. Both pay regardless of their position on the grid. The Bell Scatter awards wins when three, four or five Bells appear, while the Bonus Scatter (Joker hat) leads into the game’s Bonus Spins feature.

Expanding Joker Wild

Lady Fortune takes the central role as the game’s Wild, appearing on reels 2, 3 and 4.

When she lands, the character expands vertically to fill the entire reel, replacing the usual symbols across all three positions with a full-reel animation. It breaks up the traditional fruit-machine layout with one of the game’s most distinctive visual moments while also serving a clear function: the Joker substitutes for all symbols except Scatters.

Bonus Spins

Bonus symbols can appear only on reels 1, 3 and 5, and any three landing on the grid award five Bonus Spins.

During the feature, any Joker that lands is held until the Bonus ends. As each Joker occupies a full reel, the feature can develop as it goes, with landed Joker reels remaining in place through the spins that follow.

There is also a way to continue after the initial Bonus. If at least two Jokers are held at the end, an Extra Bonus Spin can be offered. Its cost depends on the number of held Jokers and is deducted from the winnings, with up to three Extra Bonus Spins available when the accumulated win is sufficient to cover them.

Extra Bet and Bonus Hunt

Players looking to reach the Bonus have two additional options.

With Extra Bet, they can choose between two Bonus Boosts: double the chance of winning the Bonus, or start it with two additional Bonus Spins, taking the initial total from five to seven.

Bonus Hunt comes into play once two Bonus symbols have landed. Those symbols remain locked while the other reels spin in search of another one.

Two options are available: 10x the total bet with five Bonus Spins, or 20x with seven Bonus Spins. Each purchase carries a 1 in 5 chance of being awarded an additional Bonus symbol, and if one is not awarded, Bonus Hunt can be purchased again.
